Homecoming Week

School Spirit Week

This past week, North Technical High School celebrated Homecoming with spirit week. The week’s activities ended with a Pep-Rally, Powder Puff football game, a homecoming soccer game Thursday, and the homecoming dance Friday night.

Results of the Powder Puff football were the Junior girls winning 2-0 over the Sophomore girls putting them in the final against the Senior girls. But the Juniors couldn’t continue their success and fell to the Seniors 3-0.

The NTHS Golden Eagles soccer team played hard but could not hold off McClure North, losing the Homecoming game, 0-5.

“A Moment for Life” theme drew hundreds of students to the homecoming dance on Friday night. This event planned and coordinated by the officers of Skills USA, brought students of every grade, dressed up and ready to dance.

North Tech concluded its Homecoming week festivities by crowning the 2011 Homecoming Dance royalty. Shelley Jones and Daryan Rivers were recognized as Queen and King on Friday night during the Homecoming Dance Princess and Prince Underclassmen awards went to Sophomores Rickell Keeper and Kevin James and Junior Brandy McNutt and Jermain Hill.
