Task
First, you will work in groups of four in order to investigate logarithms. It is important to your investigation that you select reliable information from the Internet to use in your lesson. Once you have investigated each area, your second assigment will be to create a lesson and activity that you could use to teach the class. The lesson must be created in PowerPoint so that, if your team is chosen, you can show it to the class. Each team will show Miss Cowan their lesson and activity, and she will decide who gets to teach the class for extra credit.
Try to find information about the following:
- applications of logarithms and how they were discovered.
- images that help the audience to better understand.
- the characteristics/elements of a good lesson plan .
- include a class activity.
